Key Responsibilities

The Behavioral Health Technician is responsible for monitoring patient safety, facilitating recovery meetings, and ensuring adherence to the facility's daily schedule. They also assist clinical staff with documentation, medication oversight, and the de-escalation of behavioral situations.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a valid driver's license, CPR certification, and the physical ability to navigate the facility grounds. While not mandatory, an undergraduate degree in Behavioral Science and one year of experience in substance abuse treatment are preferred.
