Key Responsibilities
The Family Nurse Practitioner provides general medical care, performs medical triage, and educates patients on preventative health measures. They are also responsible for documenting patient history, ordering diagnostic tests, and referring patients to specialists as needed.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a board certification and an active, unrestricted NYS Nurse Practitioner license. A minimum of one year of independent practice experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner is required.
