Key Responsibilities

As an independent contractor, the Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive primary care to residents as part of the interdisciplinary health care team, including conducting person-centered health assessments and managing resident care through various interventions. Responsibilities also involve collaborating with the team, participating in care conferences, and leading quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Master’s of Nursing or equivalent with a clinical focus, along with a Post-Master of Nursing (NP Field) Diploma and registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (preferably RN Extended Class). Required qualifications include 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience, strong critical thinking, excellent communication skills, and necessary documentation like Liability Insurance and WSIB Clearance.
