Key Responsibilities

The Tele-Pharmacist is responsible for reviewing and verifying physician orders to ensure safe medication usage, including checking for drug interactions and appropriate dosing. They also provide clinical oversight and communicate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure continuity of medication therapy.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a B.S. in Pharmacy or equivalent from an accredited college and possess an active pharmacist license in the state of residence. A minimum of three years of hospital pharmacy experience is required for this role.
