Join Community Medical and Dental Care Inc as a Occupational Therapist – Part-Time, Flexible Schedule in Monsey, New York, United States. Community Medical and Dental Care, a non-profit community health center located in Rockland County, NY, is hiring a part time Occupational Therapist. We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment for patients with a variety of physical, developmental, neurological, and functional conditions.
- Facilitate development and rehabilitation by planning and administering medically prescribed occupational therapy programs tailored to each patient's needs and goals.
- Help patients regain physical functioning and independence through therapeutic activities, exercises, adaptive techniques, and assistive devices.
- Evaluate therapy results by observing, noting, and assessing patient progress; recommend and implement necessary adjustments to the plan of care.
Requirements
- Current NY State Occupational Therapy license (Required) Experience working with pediatric and/or adult patients preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
