Amity Physical Therapy LLC is looking for a passionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing team in Woodbridge, CT! Responsibilities

Implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist

• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and rehabilitative techniques
• Monitor and document patient progress, reporting updates to the supervising PT
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment
• Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure continuity and quality of patient care
• Adhere to all state regulations, clinic policies, and professional ethical standards

Requirements

• Active Connecticut PTA license or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Strong knowledge of therapeutic modalities, exercise prescription, and rehabilitation techniques
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients and clinical staff
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based, patient-centered environment
• Prior clinical experience or internship in an outpatient or orthopedic setting is a plus
