Licensed Clinical Social Worker / Licensed Professional Counselor

Key Responsibilities

The clinician is responsible for monitoring, coordinating, and implementing mental health programs while serving as a liaison between the medical unit and facility staff. Primary duties include conducting clinical assessments, managing risk for suicide or self-harm, and facilitating patient placement in forensic hospitals.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a master's degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field and possess a valid Maryland license (LGPC, LCPC, LMSW, or LCSW-C). A minimum of two years of experience is required, with preference given to those with substance abuse or MAT experience.
