The counselor is responsible for monitoring and implementing Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) programs within the detention center. They also provide therapeutic interventions, conduct assessments, and facilitate group and individual sessions for inmates.
Candidates must hold a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor (LCADC) credential and be eligible to supervise other staff. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant human services field is required, along with at least one year of clinical experience.
