Job description
Description. This contract position will require on-site presence and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to patient care in the Anesthesiology department within the medical practice industry.
In this role, you will be instrumental in providing anesthesia care to patients in various surgical settings. Your expertise will directly impact patient safety and comfort during procedures, making your contributions vital to our healthcare team's success. Responsibilities
Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures
Monitor patients' vital signs throughout the surgery
Collaborate with surgeons and other medical professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and consultations
Manage anesthesia equipment and ensure compliance with safety protocols
Educate patients and families regarding anesthesia processes and care
Respond to emergency situations and perform necessary interventions
Document anesthesia care accurately in the medical records
Requirements
Active CRNA certification and state licensure
Associate degree in Nursing or a related field
Experience in administering anesthesia in a clinical setting
Solid understanding of anesthesia techniques and pharmacology
Strong communication and patient management skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with excellent critical thinking abilities
Commitment to ongoing professional development and education
Schedule: 7p-7a
Adult cases required, pediatric cases preferred
Required Skills: Spinal anesthesia, regional anesthesia, epidural anesthesia, neurosurgical cases, OB cases, complex orthopedic cases, and vent management
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
