Job Description

Registered Dental Hygienist – Omaha, NE

Established private dental practice in Omaha is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. We are looking for a motivated, patient-focused professional who is passionate about providing exceptional preventive dental care and education.

Position Details

  • Full-Time or Part-Time available
  • Flexible schedule (approximately 3 days per week for part-time)
  • Competitive compensation: $45-$55 per hour
  • Performance-based incentive compensation available
  • Earned PTO

Responsibilities

  • Perform dental cleanings (prophylaxis)
  • Remove plaque, tartar, and stains
  • Conduct periodontal assessments
  • Measure and document periodontal pocket depths
  • Take and review dental radiographs
  • Apply fluoride treatments and sealants
  • Screen for oral diseases and abnormalities
  • Document findings and communicate with the dentist regarding patient care
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, disease prevention, and nutrition
  • Discuss periodontal treatment recommendations
  • Promote preventive care and regular dental visits

Requirements

  • Active Dental Hygienist license in Nebraska
  • Strong communication and patient education skills
  • Commitment to providing excellent patient care
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

Our practice utilizes modern dental technology including digital radiography, implant dentistry, cosmetic and restorative procedures, intraoral scanning, and comprehensive treatment planning.
