Job Description
Registered Dental Hygienist – Omaha, NE
Established private dental practice in Omaha is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. We are looking for a motivated, patient-focused professional who is passionate about providing exceptional preventive dental care and education.
Position Details
- Full-Time or Part-Time available
- Flexible schedule (approximately 3 days per week for part-time)
- Competitive compensation: $45-$55 per hour
- Performance-based incentive compensation available
- Earned PTO
Responsibilities
- Perform dental cleanings (prophylaxis)
- Remove plaque, tartar, and stains
- Conduct periodontal assessments
- Measure and document periodontal pocket depths
- Take and review dental radiographs
- Apply fluoride treatments and sealants
- Screen for oral diseases and abnormalities
- Document findings and communicate with the dentist regarding patient care
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, disease prevention, and nutrition
- Discuss periodontal treatment recommendations
- Promote preventive care and regular dental visits
Requirements
- Active Dental Hygienist license in Nebraska
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Commitment to providing excellent patient care
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
