Key Responsibilities

The Occupational Therapist Assistant performs occupational therapy programs under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to support patient functional needs. They are also responsible for documenting service delivery and educating patients, families, and staff members.

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an AOTA-approved occupational therapy assistant program and hold or be eligible for licensure by the Oklahoma State Board of Medical Examiners. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required prior to providing patient care.
