Job Description
As a Dental Hygienist, you’ll play an essential role in helping patients achieve healthier smiles and improve their overall health. You’ll have the opportunity to practice at the top of your scope, build meaningful relationships with patients, and collaborate with a supportive dental team that values your skills and contributions.
Whether you’re an experienced hygienist or a recent graduate starting your career, you’ll have access to clinical support, continuing education, and opportunities to grow professionally in a welcoming environment.
Welcome to Midwest Dental of Elgin!
Our Elgin office is a relaxed, friendly, and fun place for both patients and team members. Led by Dr. Valerie Sefton, our team is committed to creating a positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors. We understand the importance of teamwork and are always happy to support visiting and temporary team members with any questions or concerns.
We truly appreciate the dental professionals who step in to support our team and care for our patients when we need an extra hand. You’re not just helping us keep our office running smoothly — you’re a superhero helping us make a difference in our patients’ lives!
Need a lunch break? We’re conveniently located near several local restaurants, and we also have a full-size refrigerator if you prefer to bring your own lunch.
And here’s a little extra appreciation for you: Instead of a traditional sign-on bonus, we offer a Spa Package Bonus! Enjoy $150 per month for 12 months to put toward the med-spa or spa services of your choice — because you deserve to feel cared for, too!
Why You’ll Love This Role
Practice at the top of your scope — Put your clinical skills, education, and expertise to work while making a meaningful difference in patient care.
Build lasting patient relationships — Educate, encourage, and empower patients to take an active role in their oral and overall health.
Be part of a collaborative team — Work alongside dentists and fellow hygienists to deliver personalized, comprehensive care.
Continue to grow — Take advantage of company-paid continuing education, training, and professional development opportunities.
Make every visit matter — Help patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident about their dental care.
Feel welcomed and appreciated — Join a supportive team where kindness, empathy, respect, and teamwork are at the heart of everything we do.
Enjoy a little self-care — Take advantage of our unique spa bonus and treat yourself to services you love throughout the year.
