Job Description
Recruiting Firm, Riderflex has been hired by our client, Lokiten Behavioral Health, to find their Mental Health Therapist!
- Job Title: Mental Health Therapist Reports to: Tanya Portee, Clinical Director
- Status: Full-time, Hybrid, flexible schedule Pay Range: $60,000 - $80,000 annually
- Location: Colorado Springs, CO 80917 Number of Openings: 1
- Come do meaningful work with people you actually like working with!
Lokiten Behavioral Health is growing, and we’re looking for a Mental Health Therapist who wants to be part of a team that takes great care seriously, but doesn’t believe work has to feel painfully corporate in the process.
We’re a locally grown behavioral health practice providing therapy, medication management, and intensive outpatient services. We’ve built Lokiten around a pretty simple idea: create an environment where clinicians can focus on doing excellent work, patients feel genuinely cared for, and everyone can still enjoy coming to work.
We’re looking for a therapist who is compassionate, dependable, clinically sharp, and equally important, someone we’d actually enjoy having on the team.
What You'll Do
- Provide individual, family, and/or couples therapy based on your experience and interests
- Complete assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Maintain timely, thoughtful clinical documentation
- Collaborate with therapists, prescribers, and other members of our clinical team
Help clients navigate real-world challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, life transitions, and other behavioral health concerns
Bring your own clinical personality and strengths to the work. We aren't looking for robots.
What We Require
Active Colorado license in a mental health discipline such as LCSW, LPC, or LMFT, with the ability to see patients without supervision
Experience working with children. Our caseload is mixed, and working with kids is a core part of this role.
Who We'd Love to Meet
You Might Be a Great Fit If You
- Care deeply about clients without taking yourself too seriously
- Love working with children and teens
- Communicate well and follow through on what you say you'll do
- Enjoy being part of a collaborative team rather than operating on an island
- Want a workplace where good ideas are welcomed, not buried under six layers of bureaucracy
- Are interested in growing clinically and professionally as the organization grows
- We care much more about finding the right person than checking every imaginable box.
Why Lokiten?
Because where you practice matters.
At Lokiten, you'll be joining a behavioral health organization that has grown from a small practice into a multidisciplinary team while still trying very hard not to become one of those places where nobody knows each other and every decision requires a committee meeting.
You'll Find
- A supportive, collaborative clinical team
- Opportunities to work alongside therapy, psychiatry, and IOP services
- A growing organization with opportunities to take on new roles and responsibilities
- Leadership that is accessible and involved
- A culture where personality is allowed
- Administrative support so you can spend more of your energy actually being a therapist
- The opportunity to help shape what Lokiten becomes next
- EMDR training provided, with a one-year commitment
- And yes, we genuinely want people to enjoy working here.
The Kind of Person Who Thrives Here
You're good at what you do. You care about people. You can laugh. You are a team player. You communicate when something isn't working. You want to keep getting better. And when you walk into the office, your coworkers are happy you're there.
If that sounds like you, we'd really like to meet you.
Schedule and Location
Hybrid, split roughly evenly between working remotely and working in our Colorado Springs office. Flexible schedule.
Compensation and Benefits
- Job Type: Full-time
- Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
Your base salary is $60,000. On top of that, you earn 60% of the reimbursement rate on every billable hour you see beyond your weekly requirement, so your earning potential is largely in your own hands. That is what the range above reflects.
Compensation begins as a per-session split and moves to salary once billable hour targets are met. We will walk you through the full structure early in the conversation so there are no surprises.

- $300 monthly stipend through Thatch to choose your own marketplace health insurance plan
- Three weeks of PTO
