Key Responsibilities
The RN Navigator acts as an advocate and educator, coordinating patient care across the multidisciplinary team throughout the oncology treatment continuum. They facilitate appointments, manage communication between providers and patients, and assist in navigating the healthcare system from screening to survivorship.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Registered Nurse license in Louisiana, BLS certification, and OCN certification. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required or must be obtained within three years, along with at least five years of oncology nursing experience.
