  • Provide orthodontic treatment and monitor patient progress, making appropriate adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  • Explain treatment options, expected outcomes, timelines, and oral hygiene requirements to patients and parents or guardians.
  • Maintain accurate, complete clinical records, including examinations, treatment plans, progress notes, and documentation of informed consent.
  • Work collaboratively with general dentists and the office team to coordinate care and support an efficient patient schedule.
  • Prioritize patient safety, comfort, and high-quality care while following applicable clinical, infection-control, and documentation standards.

Qualifications

  • DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school and completion of an accredited orthodontic residency program.
  • Current, active dental license in the state where the practice is located, with any required credentials and CPR/BLS certification.
  • Experience providing orthodontic care in a busy clinical environment preferred.
  • Strong diagnostic, treatment-planning, and clinical skills, with a commitment to evidence-based orthodontic care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build trust with patients and families.
  • Professional, dependable, and motivated to contribute to a collaborative, patient-centered practice.

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation based on a percentage of collections; the percentage and compensation terms will be discussed during the interview process.
  • Opportunities for a part-time position, depending on practice needs and availability.
  • A busy practice environment with an established patient base and team support.
  • The opportunity to grow professionally within an established dental group.
