Key Responsibilities
The Psychiatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner will assess, diagnose, and manage the medical and psychiatric needs of patients within an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include conducting patient rounds, ordering diagnostic tests, and facilitating patient education regarding treatment plans.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Nursing as an NP and possess current Texas licensure as an APRN-NP and RN. Additionally, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.
