Dental Assistant
Pediatric Dentistry of Hamburg | Lexington, KY
Monday through Thursday 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM

A Day In the Life Of
What You'll Do
As a Dental Assistant, you'll play a key role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our clinical team. You'll help create a positive and comfortable experience for patients while assisting with daily clinical operations
Assisting the dentist during procedures
Processing lab work for the dentist
Advising patients on recommended oral hygiene
Updating and maintaining dental records
What You'll Bring To The Table
Experience:
Proven experience as a dental assistant (preferred)
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Understanding of health & safety regulations
Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing is a plus
Excellent communication, Computer, and people skills
Attention to detail
Proficient in organizing
Education:
High school diploma/GED
Additional certification or training is an asset
X-Ray Certification

Key Responsibilities

The Dental Assistant will support the clinical team by assisting the dentist during procedures and processing lab work. They are also responsible for maintaining dental records and educating patients on proper oral hygiene.

Requirements

Candidates should have experience as a dental assistant and possess knowledge of dental instruments and safety regulations. A high school diploma or GED is required, and X-Ray certification is preferred.
