About the Role
Nuance Dental Studio, PLLC is seeking a skilled and passionate Periodontist to join our growing team in the heart of New York, NY. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional periodontal care in a modern, patient-centered practice where clinical excellence meets a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat periodontal diseases, including gingivitis and advanced periodontitis
- Perform surgical and non-surgical periodontal procedures, including scaling and root planing, osseous surgery, and crown lengthening
- Place and restore dental implants, including implant surgery and implant-supported restorations
- Perform soft tissue and bone grafting procedures to restore periodontal health
- Collaborate with general dentists and specialists to develop comprehensive patient treatment plans
- Educate patients on periodontal health, maintenance, and preventive care strategies
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and documentation
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution
- Completion of an accredited Periodontics residency program
- Active New York State dental license or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Periodontology
- Proficiency in dental implant placement and advanced periodontal surgical techniques
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first approach
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary dental team
