Job Description
Burger Physical Therapy has provided therapy services since 1978.
We currently seek an exceptional California State Board Licensed Physical Therapist to join our Sacramento Physical Therapy Outpatient Orthopedic team as a Regional FLOAT!
Are you ready to become a valued regional clinician with the ability to make an impact across the Sacramento community? A PT FLOAT learns from multiple experienced therapists and specialties across the organization, positions you for future leadership or specialty roles by knowing clinic Directors and Regionals throughout the company, and allows you to experience less clinic politics, less administrative responsibilities and enables you to see the various clinics our company has to offer!
This is an exciting opportunity to grow as a physical therapist while increasing your earning potential. You can bring your orthopedic skills to different clinics, help patients who need care, collaborate with new colleagues, and experience a variety of clinical environments and teams. No weekends! The mileage reimbursement and premium pay make the travel worthwhile, while the possibility of long-term assignments offers continuity.
PREMIUM PAY - VARIETY – HIGHER EARNING POTENTIAL – FLEXIBILITY – PROFESSIONAL GROWTH
- Premium pay means an opportunity to earn more. You receive your base pay plus mileage reimbursement at the current IRS standard mileage rate. Depending on how much you travel, this could add a meaningful amount to your overall compensation.
- - Variety keeps your work interesting. Working in all our clinics gives you the chance to experience different work environments, patient populations, and clinic teams. Your workweek may feel less repetitive.
- - You become a highly valued, versatile therapist. As a regional float, you're someone the organization can rely on when clinics need coverage. This can help you build confidence, adaptability, and professional relationships throughout the region.
- - One documentation system makes transitions easier. Since all clinics use Raintree, you won't have to learn a completely different documentation system at every location. That consistency can make moving between clinics much smoother.
- - Long-term assignments can provide stability. Covering leaves for extended periods may allow you to settle into a clinic, build relationships with patients and staff, and enjoy some consistency while still benefiting from the float role.
Base rate: $60/hour plus IRS milege which can increase your monthly pay from $200-$1600, or more!
