Job description

● Job Title: Locum CRNA
● Employment Status: 1099
● Location: Northeastern Connecticut
● Duration: 3-6 months, ongoing
● Shifts: 7am - 5:30pm, 10 hour shifts only. OT is expected but not required.
● Call: None required
● Job Type: Locum/Contract
● Case Types: General, Colorectal, OB/GYN, Urology, ENT, Ortho, Spine Fusions, Eyes, Pacemakers, Cardioversions, TEE, Peds and GI. No Heads/Neuro, Trauma or Open Hearts. Peds cases are over 1 and are mostly ENT.
● Credentialing Timeframe: 30-60 days with CT license in hand, 60-120 with no CT license.
● Special Requirements: Certified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
● EMR: Paper Charting
● Supervision Model: 4 MDs and 3 CRNAs

Job Summary

Access Healthcare Staffing Solutions is currently seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Locum CRNA to provide comprehensive anesthetic care across a variety of clinical settings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, excellent decision-making skills, and a patient-centered approach to care. This opportunity offers the flexibility of a locum arrangement while being part of a collaborative and respected medical team.

Requirements
● Current certification as a CRNA by the National Board on Certification and Re-Certification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
● Valid, unrestricted RN and CRNA licenses in Connecticut.
● Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a CRNA, with proficiency in general, OB/GYN, ENT, ortho, and cardiac cases.
● Strong clinical knowledge and ability to perform anesthesia management for diverse patient populations.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
● Ability to adapt to changing clinical situations and deliver optimal patient care.
● BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required.
