Job description
Join North Shore Community Health as a Behavioral Health Clinician – Integrated Primary Care in Salem, Massachusetts. North Shore Community Health is hiring Behavioral Health Clinicians for our Salem, Peabody, and Gloucester locations. Selected candidates may provide coverage at one or more sites based on organizational and patient care needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct treatment to patients.
- Provide consultation to primary care staff pertaining to the behavioral health needs of their patients.
- Consult with primary care providers on an ongoing basis pertaining to the patient’s condition and the patient’s medical and behavioral health care plan and treatment goals.
- Provide treatment for individuals of all ages and their families as needed. Modalities used include: brief treatment; diagnostic assessments; crisis intervention; crisis prevention and management (homelessness, detox, reporting suspected child and/or elder abuse, tenant issues).
Requirements
- Experience in community health care.
- Must have reliable transportation to travel between sites.
- Demonstrated strong communication skills with individuals and/or groups.
- Spanish or Portuguese fluency preferred.

Licensure & Certifications
