Compensation Range

$80,620.00 - $108,846.00

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for
this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's
compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but
not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of
the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Responsibilities

Provides individualized assistance, support and comprehensive coordination of
care for patients and their families/caregivers, to eliminate barriers to timely
care, facilitate flow through system, facilitate interactions with care team,
increase patient and provider satisfaction, maintain point of contact with
providers and serve as first point of contact for patients and families.

FT position available, primarily days, 8-hour shifts

Seeking a team-focused professional, with a passion for caring for GI oncology
patients, to join our progressive outpatient clinics. The GI Oncology Navigator
identifies patient needs, barriers to care and initiates appropriate referrals
to multidisciplinary services from diagnosis through treatment. Collaborates
with the appropriate teams to ensure that scheduled tests, diagnostic
procedures, follow- up care, and appointments are coordinated within the GI
oncology cancer clinical pathway. Provides education to patients and families
regarding complex appointments and required testing. Assists in the development
of clinical goals and objectives for the GI oncology navigator role in
conjunction with the GI cancer service line. Excellent communication and
organizational skills as well as the ability to work independently with
multidisciplinary teams is required to be successful in this position. BSN with
3- 5 years of oncology experience required. Oncology certification preferred.
