Requirements

Candidates must hold a master's, post-master's, or doctorate from an accredited nurse practitioner program and possess current licensure as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner. National board certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC or PMHNP-C) and a valid DEA permit are required.
