Job description
Coverage Days: 2-3 days per week (Tue, Thu, and some Wednesdays)
Type: 1099 Locums

Credentialing – 48 to 72 hours or less, we have a proven system as long as we receive all the information and documents needed.
Setting – Ambulatory Surgery Center
Case types – General Surgery, Bariatric, Plastics & Cosmetics, and some GYN.
Independent - No directives
Candidate Criteria
1. Excellent clinical outcomes
2. No recent malpractice issues and MUST carry own malpractice
3. 2 yrs minimum ASC model experience
4. Ideal case mix experience preference (not in any particular order)

* General Surgery
5. Excellent receptive, professional, and interpersonal working skills
Not limited to other important selection criteria.
Additional Info
Some days run about 10-12hrs fast-paced with about 10 cases (major and minor)
Some days run 10-12hrs slow cases 3-4hr long cases (2-3 cases)
Some days run short - 6hrs
Key Responsibilities
Provide anesthesia services for a variety of cases including general, bariatric, plastic, and GYN surgeries in an ambulatory surgery center. Manage patient care independently across multiple locations in Georgia on a part-time basis.
Requirements
Requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in an ASC model and a proven track record of excellent clinical outcomes. Candidates must carry their own malpractice insurance and possess strong professional interpersonal skills.
