Job Description
Adaptive Workforce is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for a full-time contract opportunity in an outpatient pediatric setting in Lake Havasu City, AZ.
The Physical Therapist will provide evaluation and treatment services to pediatric patients while working as part of a collaborative therapy team. This is a 26-week contract position with a 40-hour workweek, beginning March 30, 2027.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate pediatric patients and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide physical therapy interventions based on individual patient needs.
- Help pediatric patients improve mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and functional independence.
- Monitor and document patient progress throughout treatment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, caregivers, and other members of the care team.
- Collaborate with other therapy and healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Follow facility policies and applicable professional standards.
Requirements
- Current and valid Physical Therapist license.
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
- Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and patient care skills
- Appropriate education and credentials required to practice as a PT in Arizona.
- Pediatric experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with pediatric patients and their families.
- Ability to commit to the full 26-week contract.
