The provider will deliver comprehensive medical care to patients with acute and chronic illnesses, making professional medical judgments, ordering tests, and prescribing treatments in an outpatient primary care setting. Responsibilities also include managing the provider/patient relationship, documentation, patient education, and serving as a healthcare resource and consultant within an interdisciplinary team.
Candidates must possess an MD or DO degree and be Board Eligible or Certified in Internal Medicine. Required credentials include a State of New Mexico Medical License, DEA registration, and New Mexico Controlled Substance Registration.
