Job Description

At MJH Life Sciences our success is measured by your success! If you set your standards high and want to contribute to a winning team, we’ll provide you with every opportunity to help grow our company and your career. Our associates come from all backgrounds, sharing one key quality: determination to succeed.

We value being Service Focused, having a Passion for Winning, Innovation, Respect, Integrity, and Teamwork. Nothing means more to us than hiring people with these attributes. If you believe you’re right for the job, this is the place to prove it!

Physicians' Education Resource (PER), a segment of MJH Life Sciences, is seeking an Associate Medical Director to support the development of CME/CE-certified educational initiatives for physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.

Working across cross-functional teams, you will develop high-quality medical content in oncology that advances clinical knowledge and improves patient outcomes.

This role requires strong scientific writing and editing skills, solid therapeutic expertise, and the ability to manage multiple deliverables under tight deadlines in a compliance-driven environment.

What You'll Do

Develop and maintain expertise in assigned therapeutic areas, including key clinical issues, practice guidelines, current and emerging therapies, important clinical trials, and thought leaders

Plan, write, clinically edit, and review text-based and multimedia CME/CE-certified activities for live and online programs that fulfill established learning objectives and product specifications

  • Lead half-day and single-day core conferences with minimal supervision
  • Partner with the educational strategy team to write, edit, and review grant proposals in assigned therapeutic areas
  • Ensure adherence to ACCME and other regulatory standards throughout content development

Use AI tools to work more efficiently across content development tasks such as literature review, drafting, data synthesis, and quality checks, applying expert judgment to verify clinical accuracy and maintain independence and fair balance

Help shape how the Medical Affairs team adopts AI by sharing workflows, testing new tools, and contributing to team best practices

  • Collaborate with colleagues across departments to ensure quality and accuracy of medical content
  • Travel 15 to 20 percent as needed to participate in on-site execution of educational activities

What Sets You Apart

  • Advanced degree preferred (MD, DO, PhD, RN, PharmD); other graduate degrees (MPH, MS) or bachelor's degrees with relevant experience considered
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in CME/CE medical education content development
  • Solid therapeutic knowledge in oncology, with the ability to quickly adapt to new therapeutic areas
  • Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to synthesize complex scientific data into cohesive educational materials
  • Understanding of ACCME and related regulatory standards for CME/CE activity development
  • Familiarity with AMA style and best practices in medical publishing

Comfort using generative AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot in professional work, with a clear understanding of their limitations in medical content

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including strong PowerPoint skills; experience with Workfront or other project management tools preferred

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines

AI Capability Expectation

Candidates should be prepared to discuss how they currently use AI in their medical education or content development work. This includes:

Specific tools in active use and how they support literature review, drafting, data synthesis, or quality checking across CME/CE deliverables

How you apply expert judgment to verify clinical accuracy and maintain independence and fair balance in AI-assisted content before it advances in the review cycle

How you navigate the appropriate use of AI within ACCME compliance and regulatory standards

Bonus: examples of AI workflows you have developed or shared with colleagues that improved content development speed or output quality across concurrent programs

Compensation Range

$120,000 – $130,000 per year, depending on qualifications. Eligible for annual company bonus program or commission incentive based on role. Compensation will depend on factors including educational background, skills, and professional experience.
