The Radiation Therapist applies ionizing radiation to patients according to physician prescriptions while ensuring precise treatment and safety. They also participate in quality control monitoring, patient assessment, and clinical instruction for students.
Requirements
Candidates must hold an Associate's degree and be graduates of an accredited Radiation Therapy program and Radiologic Technology school. A minimum of one year of experience in Radiation Therapy and ARRT certification are required.
