Graduate Occupational Therapist

Key Responsibilities

Participants will engage consumers, carers, and families to co-create goals, assessments, and intervention plans to facilitate daily life occupations, including planning and evaluating individual and group-based occupational therapy interventions. Duties also involve undertaking mental state evaluations, risk assessments, compiling reports for specific audiences like NDIS, and actively participating in supervision and professional development sessions.

Requirements

Applicants must hold a qualification in Occupational Therapy obtained within the last twenty-four months and possess current registration with AHPRA, along with a current driver's license. Essential attributes include a strong interest in mental health, well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, and a commitment to continuous learning and team contribution.
