About Us
Millard Plastic Surgery, an Inspire Aesthetics Group partner, is known for its commitment to excellence and expertise in aesthetic enhancement. Led by renowned plastic surgeon Dr. John Millard, our practice has a longstanding reputation for innovation, precision, and exceptional patient care.
Summary and Opportunity
Build and grow a medical aesthetics program within Millard Plastic Surgery, an established, physician-led plastic surgery practice with 25 years of experience and a strong reputation.
Located in the Denver Tech Center (DTC) area of Englewood, this opportunity is ideal for an experienced aesthetic NP or PA with strong clinical expertise, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a passion for developing a thriving aesthetics program.
You will have the opportunity to help shape the program's growth, develop lasting patient relationships, and collaborate with our surgeons and practice team, with support from our Marketing and Operations teams. Safe, ethical care, natural-looking results, and lasting patient relationships are central to the role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform aesthetic injectable treatments, including neuromodulators, dermal fillers, and biostimulators, along with appropriate ancillary services, within applicable licensure, scope of practice, and clinical protocols.
Conduct comprehensive patient consultations and facial assessments, evaluating patient history, anatomy, skin quality, aesthetic goals, and treatment suitability.
Develop individualized treatment plans and educate patients on treatment options, risks, benefits, alternatives, expected outcomes, and pricing. Obtain informed consent and provide appropriate aftercare and follow-up guidance.
Exercise sound clinical judgment in patient selection, treatment planning, and recognition and management of injection-related complications. Follow established emergency protocols and coordinate with the physician and clinical team as appropriate.
Collaborate with the plastic surgery team when surgical and nonsurgical options may complement one another.
Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation, clinical photography, and product traceability records. Follow applicable HIPAA, OSHA, confidentiality, and professional practice requirements.
Provide a professional, attentive, and discreet patient experience, fostering trust through education, individualized recommendations, and appropriate follow-up.
Collaborate with Marketing and Operations on initiatives to develop the aesthetics program, increase patient awareness, strengthen retention, and support sustainable growth.
Contribute practical ideas and take initiative in developing the program's services, patient experience, and market presence.
Participate in professional social media and patient education content initiatives in collaboration with Marketing, consistent with patient consent, privacy requirements, and applicable advertising and professional standards.
Qualifications
At least two years of hands-on aesthetic injectable experience, including independent clinical experience appropriate to the provider's license and authorized practice.
Demonstrated experience with neuromodulators, dermal fillers, and biostimulators, with a strong understanding of facial anatomy, aesthetic principles, appropriate patient selection, and clinical judgment.
Strong consultation, communication, and patient education skills, with the ability to establish trust and build lasting patient relationships.
Entrepreneurial mindset, initiative, and interest in contributing to the development and growth of a medical aesthetics program.
Social media proficiency and the ability to contribute engaging, professional educational and marketing content.
Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and a commitment to accurate documentation, patient confidentiality, and continuing education.
An existing aesthetic patient following is a plus, but not required. The ability and motivation to develop lasting relationships with practice patients are essential.
Licensure and Certifications
- Current, unrestricted Colorado APRN/NP or PA license, as applicable.
- Current national certification appropriate to the provider's professional role.
- Current BLS certification by the start of clinical services.
- Formal aesthetic injection training or certification preferred.
- DEA registration, if applicable to the provider's assigned responsibilities.
All clinical services must be performed within the provider's authorized scope of practice and in accordance with applicable Colorado laws, professional licensing requirements, and practice protocols. Applicable physician collaboration, supervision, delegation, and prescribing requirements must be satisfied.
