About the Role

Koorosh Shamtoub DDS PC is looking for a skilled and compassionate Endodontist to join our growing dental practice in Brooklyn, NY. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional patient care in a supportive, professional environment where your expertise truly makes a difference.

Responsibilities

• Perform root canal therapy, endodontic retreatment, and other specialized endodontic procedures
• Diagnose and treat diseases and injuries of dental pulp and periapical tissues
• Utilize digital imaging, cone beam CT (CBCT), and advanced endodontic technology for accurate diagnosis
• Collaborate with general dentists and specialists to coordinate comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients on treatment plans, procedures, and post-operative care instructions
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and clinical documentation
• Stay current with advancements in endodontic techniques, materials, and best practices

Requirements

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
• Completion of an accredited Endodontics specialty residency program
• Valid New York State dental license in good standing
• Board certification or board eligibility with the American Board of Endodontics preferred
• Proficiency with rotary endodontics, microsurgery, and digital imaging systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting
