Job Description

  • Job Title: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
  • Setting: In-Home & Community-Based

Service Areas: Laurel (20707), Silver Spring (20902), Baltimore (21215), Frederick (21701), Prince George’s County (20744), and immediate surrounding areas

We are a premier, mission-driven behavioral health organization dedicated to providing high-quality, evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and their families.

Our clinical philosophy centers on individualized care delivered directly within the natural environment—primarily in-home and school settings—to foster meaningful, long-term functional skill acquisition and behavior reduction. We believe that clinical excellence begins with empowering our practitioners.

By pairing robust administrative coordination, diagnostic navigation support, and parent education resources with clinical autonomy, we foster a supportive, multidisciplinary culture where clinicians are fully equipped to achieve transformative outcomes for the families they serve.

We are seeking dedicated, compassionate, and autonomous Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to oversee and direct home-based clinical programming across key Maryland territories, including Laurel (20707), Silver Spring (20902), Baltimore (21215), Frederick (21701), Prince George’s County (20744), and neighboring communities.

In this role, you will lead individualized therapy programs, conduct comprehensive assessments, mentor Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and partner directly with families to ensure treatment fidelity in the natural environment.

Clinicians have the flexibility to establish manageable caseloads that align with their availability, supported by a dedicated leadership and administrative team handling scheduling, authorizations, and operational logistics. This position requires travel to client residences within your designated geographic radius.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive initial functional behavior assessments (FBAs), skills assessments (e. g., VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS), and regular re-evaluations.

Formulate, implement, and monitor individualized, evidence-based behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programs.

Deliver direct clinical supervision, coaching, and competency-based training to RBTs and Behavior Technicians in accordance with BACB requirements.

Analyze clinical data continuously, making data-driven modifications to programming to facilitate progress toward developmental and behavioral goals.

Facilitate consistent, family-centered caregiver training to ensure generalizability of skills across settings and daily routines.

Produce precise, high-standard clinical documentation, including progress reports, authorization updates, and session notes, meeting established timelines.

Adhere strictly to the BACB Ethical and Disciplinary Code, state behavioral health laws, and payer compliance standards.

Interface with organizational leadership, administrative teams, and related service providers to guarantee cohesive, client-centered care delivery.

Qualifications

Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing with the BACB.

Current, active license to practice as a Behavior Analyst in the State of Maryland (LBA), or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to start.

Master’s degree or higher in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field from an accredited institution.

  • Demonstrated clinical experience delivering ABA interventions to children on the autism spectrum.
  • Proven proficiency in assessment administration, protocol writing, data analysis, and direct staff supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal, professional writing, and crisis management skills.
  • Capacity to operate independently in field environments while maintaining open communication with remote clinical and administrative teams.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and active auto insurance for community travel.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $100,000 – $120,000 annually (for full-time caseloads, commensurate with experience and caseload structure; highly flexible based on candidate preference and background).

Hourly Rate: $100 – $120 per billable hour (for part-time or flexible contractor structures; highly flexible).
