Job Description

Sign-on bonus available for eligible candidates with 2+ years of Behavioral
Health Nursing experience hired into 30hr+ positions; $7,500.

Under general supervision, plans and provides direct professional nursing care
for specified patients throughout the entire episode of service delivery as
defined by population and unit. Provides nursing services to patients and
families in accordance with the standards of practice of a professional nurse,
Connecticut Children's policies & procedures, TJC, and state & federal
regulations. Reports to Nurse Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and provide direct professional nursing care for pediatric patients within a behavioral health unit. Ensure all services align with professional nursing standards, state regulations, and hospital policies.

Requirements

Requires an ASN (BSN preferred) and a current Connecticut RN license or NLC. Must possess BLS certification and obtain PALS and Crisis Intervention training within specified timeframes after hire.
