About the Role

Join Upstate Caring Partners as a SCSC Certified Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) $2000 Sign-on Bonus! in United States.

Key Responsibilities

Promote the individual’s recovery by coordinating, developing and implementing in partnership with the individual, the treatment plan process.

Promote involvement of family or other relevant collateral contacts in the recovery process.

Provide individual psychotherapy, group therapy, and crisis intervention, within scope of education/certification.

Demonstrate knowledge of group work management techniques and use those techniques appropriately.

Requirements

Associates Degree with valid current CASAC certification required (CASAC

T or Provisional).

Completion of OASAS CASAC required 350 hours and CASAC certification attained within 6

months of employment considered.
