Job Description

A Peer-Level Clinical Partnership, Not a Corporate Caseload

Anderson Sport and Wellness is a cash-pay outpatient orthopedic practice in Newport Beach treating a highly active, athletic population alongside specialized neurological, concussion, and vestibular cases. We've built something rare: a 6-patients-a-day model with an active waitlist, real demand, not a caseload you build from scratch.

We're looking for a highly experienced, clinically strong professional to join our team. What sets our practice apart is our proprietary treatment approach. Our specialized exercise protocols and technology are the reason we deliver consistent results, achieving a 90% success rate with complex cases.

Unlike many clinics where therapists treat 12–20 patients a day, our model offers a more sustainable way to practice. Our average caseload is just 6 patients per day. Appointments run 60–90 minutes, not the standard 15–20 minutes you'll find in most clinics. That means real time to provide comprehensive care and use your clinical skills to their full potential. Charting time is also built into your workday, so you're not taking it home.

We're looking for someone who brings strong clinical judgment and years of experience, and who is genuinely interested in learning and incorporating our approach into their patient care.

  • What the Role Looks Like
  • A capped, protected schedule — no packing, no rushing, no burnout
  • 60–90 minute appointments and charting time built into your workday
  • Treatment built around our proprietary protocols, exercises, and technology — proven tools central to the outcomes we deliver
  • Genuine two-way clinical dialogue with colleagues — case consults, shared problem-solving, exchange of ideas
  • Room to grow into mentorship, protocol development, or a Clinical Director role depending on your growth goals

Required Qualifications

Licensed PT with 8+ years of outpatient orthopedic clinical experience

Demonstrated clinical independence, sound clinical judgment, and a strong track record of excellent patient outcomes

Willingness to learn and consistently incorporate our established protocols, proprietary exercises, and technology into patient care

Comfortable collaborating and exchanging ideas with colleagues

Preferred Qualifications

Expertise in vestibular rehabilitation, concussion management, or manual therapy — or a strong interest in developing these specialties

Proven ability to mentor and develop other clinicians

What You'll Get

  • This role offers one of the most competitive compensation-to-caseload ratios in outpatient PT — full-time pay for a protected, sustainable schedule.
  • Base salary: 120,000–145,000, based on experience
  • Sustainable, protected caseload — 6 patients a day, by design
  • 60–90 minute appointments and charting time built into your schedule
  • $500 annual CE allowance, plus additional funding for approved specialty training (vestibular, concussion, advanced manual therapy)
  • Comprehensive medical insurance (PPO and HSA options)
  • 2 weeks accrued PTO plus major holidays
  • CA license renewal and liability insurance, fully covered
  • Path to Clinical Director for those who want it — no obligation otherwise
