Position: Speech Language Pathologist – In-House Skilled Nursing Facility

Part-time, non-exempt

Required Qualifications

* Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
* Current SLP license in MD/VA.
* Experience in a skilled nursing or short-term rehab setting preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for patient-centered care
* Requires proficiency in technology-driven patient care and HRIS and timekeeping/attendance software.
* Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English

Major Duties and Responsibilities

* Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
* Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s rehab goals.
* Collaborate with other therapy professionals to provide comprehensive care.
* Document patient progress in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities

The Speech Language Pathologist will evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. They are also responsible for developing individualized treatment plans and documenting patient progress in compliance with regulations.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program and possess a current SLP license in MD/VA. Experience in a skilled nursing or short-term rehab setting is preferred, though new graduates are encouraged to apply.
