Position Details
Title: Pediatric Audiologist
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
As part of the Driscoll family, you will provide life-changing care to children
by diagnosing and treating hearing disorders. You’ll collaborate with a
multidisciplinary team, work in both outpatient and inpatient settings, and play
a vital role in supporting the auditory health of South Texas’ youngest
residents.
Essential Responsibilities
* Perform behavioral evaluations, including VRA, play, and conventional
audiometry.
* Administer ABRs in inpatient and outpatient settings (Natural Sleep,
Sedation, Anesthesia)
* Dispense and manage amplification devices including hearing aids, bone
conduction hearing devices, and cochlear implants.
* Support ENT clinic and other specialty clinics
* Provide education to families and other professionals
* Maintain detailed clinical documentation and comply with the newborn hearing
screening program requirements.
* Actively participate in team meetings, process improvement initiatives, and
community outreach.
Qualifications
* Master’s degree or doctoral degree (Au. D. or Ph. D.) in Audiology.
* Current Texas Licensure as an Audiologist.
* Pediatric experience, Cochlear implant experience and ENT clinic exposure, is
highly preferred.
* CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire).
* Strong flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of a dynamic
environment.
