NHC HealthCare Oakwood is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our team on a PRN basis!

Position Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services in accordance with physician orders and established standards of care.

• Assess, monitor, and document patients' respiratory status and treatment progress.

• Administer prescribed respiratory treatments and therapies.

• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.

• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to support individualized patient care.

• Ensure compliance with patient rights, center policies, and applicable healthcare regulations.

• Maintain respiratory therapy equipment and follow appropriate safety and infection control procedures.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).

• Strong technical, assessment, and documentation skills.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management abilities.

• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative healthcare team.

• Strong attention to detail, patience, and professionalism.

• Genuine compassion for elderly and disabled individuals in a long-term care setting.

• Commitment to patient rights, safety, and quality care.
