Key Responsibilities

The Organ Family Services Coordinator engages families to discuss organ donation opportunities and secures authorization through empathetic, trauma-informed communication. They also collaborate with the Aftercare team to provide ongoing grief support and ensure a seamless transition for donor families.

Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a healthcare or counseling field, along with 1-2 years of experience in acute care, hospice, or crisis intervention. Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work autonomously, and the capacity to travel within the donor service area are required.
