Job Description

Exceptional patient-centric licensed clinical therapist, social worker or clinical counselor sought for thriving private group behavioral health practice in Orange County.

Are you looking for a position that offers both the collegiality and feeling of connectivity that comes from an in-person office setting and the flexibility of telehealth?

Or, perhaps, you are looking for a group practice with an excellent reputation that lives by the highest ethical standards and is truly committed to healing? Or, maybe complete administrative support is important to you along with a consistent referral base and an income that exceeds many similar companies?

Orange County Health Psychologists has all this to offer and more. We’re a group practice of 80+ dedicated clinicians with offices in Irvine, Huntington Beach, Orange, and San Francisco. Our approach is holistic, using integrated interventions that focus on mind, body and spiritual health and wellness. Both full time and part time opportunities are available.

We strive to provide our patients with the best clinicians Orange County has to offer. Our mission and values are reflected in our hiring practices and employment policies. If you’re one of the best and equally committed to excellence in patient care, we’d love to meet you.

We offer monthly in-service training, case consultation, and opportunities for growth and development. Our compensation plan is more generous than most with fees of $80-$125 per session for LMFT’s, LCSW’s, and LPCC’s based on payor mix.

Full-time is defined as a minimum of 25 patient sessions per week with F/T compensation at approximately $110,000-$118,000 for master’s level clinicians ($80-$125/session variable rate based on insurance/payor). For those clinicians who are comfortable seeing more than 25 patients per week, income would be higher, but we encourage optimum work-life balance. We offer medical and dental benefits, a 401K plan, and CE reimbursement to full-time W-2 employees.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • California licensure as an LMFT, LCSW, LPCC
  • Master’s degree from accredited university
  • Minimum of 5+ yrs experience (including pre-licensure internships)
  • Commitment to see a minimum of 15 patients per week with no other private practice or group practice commitments
  • For full-time employees, a commitment to see a minimum of 25 patients per week
  • Flexibility with a hybrid delivery model requiring at least one day a week in the office for in-person sessions
  • Passion for excellence in patient care using evidence-based interventions

Enthusiasm for Continued Growth and Professional Development

Shared values with our patient-centric practice with a deep commitment to the highest ethical standards and excellence in patient treatment outcomes.

This is a wonderful opportunity for a therapist who understands today’s relevance of collaborative, integrated care and practicing from a health and wellness model as opposed to a disease model.
