- Board: BC/BE
- Licenses: Licensed in GA
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, ABLS
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide on-call coverage for general surgery services during assigned shifts (Mon–Sun, 7a–7p).
- Respond to emergency consultations and manage acute surgical conditions in the inpatient setting.
- Perform surgical consultations and coordinate care with emergency department and other specialists.
- Supervise and manage inpatient surgical patients, including post-operative care and rounding.
- Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure timely and appropriate patient management.
Key Responsibilities
Provide on-call coverage for general surgery services and respond to emergency consultations in an inpatient setting. Coordinate care with the emergency department and manage post-operative patient rounding.
Requirements
Must be a Board Certified or Board Eligible General Surgeon with a valid Georgia medical license. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, and ABLS.
