Job description

Job Type: Per Diem

Job Shift: Days

Department: Speech Therapy

Responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing treatment of inpatients
and outpatients with a wide variety of diagnoses in accordance with the
Professional Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics as established by American
Speech, Language, Hearing, Association, (ASHA). Collaborates with
inter-disciplinary and inter-departmental team to achieve goals and objectives
for the provision of optimal patient care services. These 
services include structured treatment, program implementation, related
documentation, and communication.   

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Education: Graduate of an approved Speech Language/Pathology program

Minimum Experience/Skills

* Must be able to follow instructions, work quickly and accurately in a fast
paced environment 
* Analytical and grammatical skills are necessary to communicate effectively,
verbally and in writing 
* Organizational and multi-tasking skills are essential
* Must be fluent in spoken and written English
* Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position

Licenses/Certificates/Credentials

* Must possess and maintain throughout the duration of employment

* Current CA SLP License and CCC-SLP certification  * Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Provider issued by the American Heart Association
