Behavioral Health Technician - Forensic Unit

Key Responsibilities

The Behavioral Health Technician is responsible for maintaining a safe milieu through patient checks, safety monitoring, and reporting changes in patient condition to the RN. They also assist with patient care tasks such as vital signs, specimen collection, and accompanying patients to off-unit activities.

Requirements

Candidates should have a high school degree and previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility is preferred. The role requires CPR certification, Crisis Prevention Training (CPI), and a valid driver's license.
