Behavioral Health Technician - Forensic Unit

Key Responsibilities

The Behavioral Health Technician is responsible for maintaining a safe milieu through patient checks, safety monitoring, and reporting changes in patient condition to the RN. They also assist with patient care tasks such as vital signs, specimen collection, documentation, and accompanying patients to activities.

Requirements

Candidates should have a high school diploma and previous experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility is preferred. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver's license, with CPR and CPI certifications required within 30 days of employment.
