Responsibilities

USA Health Providence Gastroenterology, part of USA Health, the University of South Alabama’s academic health system, is seeking a full time, board eligible or board certified gastroenterologist in Mobile, Alabama. Join a growing practice with strong patient demand, an established primary care referral base, advanced practice provider support, and the resources of a comprehensive regional health system.

Whether your focus is general gastroenterology or advanced procedures, you can build a practice that aligns with your clinical interests. Experience or interest in ERCP and EUS is welcomed but not required.

Additional Information

Employees must be in a regular position, working 20 hours or more per week (.50 FTE or greater) to qualify for benefits.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency and Gastroenterology fellowship
• Board certified or board eligible in Gastroenterology

Eligible for an Unrestricted Alabama Medical License

Commitment to high quality, patient centered care with strong communication and collaborative skills

Preferred: Experience in general gastroenterology and endoscopic procedures. Advanced endoscopy training or experience with ERCP and EUS is welcomed but not required.
