Key Responsibilities
Occupational Therapists provide direct client care by conducting comprehensive assessments and developing personalized treatment programs to improve functional capabilities. They monitor patient progress and adjust interventions to help individuals regain physical or mental functioning through daily life skills and therapeutic activities.
Requirements
Candidates must have graduated from an ACOTE accredited school and hold or be in the process of obtaining a state license as an Occupational Therapist. Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications are required, with pediatric experience preferred.
