Key Responsibilities

The pharmacist is responsible for preparing and dispensing medications while counseling patients and practitioners on drug indications and side effects. Additionally, they provide guidance to pharmacy support staff and ensure adherence to safety and infection control standards.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D and be a licensed pharmacist in New York State with immunization privileges. One to two years of experience in retail or ambulatory care pharmacy is required.
