Job Description

The Department of Medicine at Corewell Health in Southeast Michigan is recruiting a full-time Hematology/Oncology Physician to provide comprehensive hematology and oncology care at our Royal Oak and Troy locations.

The Hematology/Oncology practice is supported by five Advanced Practice Providers and a multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing coordinated, high-quality cancer and hematologic care. Patients benefit from a collaborative approach that includes multidisciplinary tumor boards, clinical trial opportunities, and access to a broad range of specialty and supportive services.

The physician will work closely with radiation oncologists, surgeons, primary care physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, and other specialists across the health system. Supportive services include social work, nutritional counseling, genetic counseling, and access to advanced radiation oncology treatment options, including proton therapy. Opportunities to participate in teaching activities with residents and medical students are also available.

A General Hematology/Oncology physician is preferred; however, candidates with an oncology subspecialty who are comfortable managing a broad spectrum of medical oncology cases, as well as malignant and benign hematologic conditions, are encouraged to apply. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a collaborative and growing program, providing comprehensive hematology/oncology outpatient care across the Royal Oak and Troy markets, with inpatient responsibilities at Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital and Corewell Health Troy Hospital.

One to three years of experience is preferred; however, new graduates are encouraged to apply.
