The physical therapist provides direct patient care to restore mobility, strength, and function while managing pain through therapeutic exercises and manual therapy. They are also responsible for documenting patient progress, educating families, and participating in discharge planning and departmental initiatives.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in physical therapy from an accredited program and possess a valid State of Wisconsin Physical Therapy License. A valid BLS certification is required within three months of hire, and prior experience is preferred but not mandatory.
