Key Responsibilities
The Clinical Therapist will screen and assess all incoming residents, utilizing observations, interviews, and records to diagnose disorders and formulate treatment plans for residents at the Juvenile Detention Facility. This role involves providing individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, and focusing on intervention and resolution services to interrupt cycles of violence.
Requirements
Candidates must possess a Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, and be licensed in Michigan as an LPCA, LLP, or LMSW-Clinical. A minimum of 2 years of experience providing therapeutic treatment to youth is required, with experience in a Juvenile Detention environment being preferred.
